OBB: Home Sessions
During the summer of 2020, Neta Bomani and I designed four remote-ready activities meant to educate people of all ages about computation and electronic hardware, as an extension of our Out of the Black Box series. Through a collaboration with Pioneer Works and Good Shepherd Services, we retooled our lesson concepts to work asynchronously, and broadened our audience to social media to encourage participation during the COVID-19 lockdown. The 4 activities we designed were shared on Pioneer Works’ Instagram account, leading to a widespread audience of participants including primary school students and experienced adults.
